Introduction and Scope
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Sekabet’s platform (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, discontinue use immediately.
Eligibility and Account Setup
You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater, to register a Sekabet account. The Company may request documentary evidence to verify identity and age at any time.
- Prohibited jurisdictions: Access to the Platform is restricted for residents of certain jurisdictions where online gambling is prohibited or heavily restricted. This includes, without limitation, the United States, the United Kingdom, Israel, Spain, Malta, and Australia, among others. Availability is subject to regulatory status and the Company’s licensing obligations.
- Single account rule: A natural person may hold only one active account. Sekabet may suspend, close, or consolidate duplicate accounts, and may forfeit or reallocate funds as it deems appropriate.
- Account activation: Activation requires successful verification of the provided contact details. Sekabet reserves the right to delay or suspend activation pending verification.
Account Management and Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity conducted under your account. You must promptly notify Sekabet of any unauthorized access or security breach. You may be held liable for losses arising from unauthorized use where you are negligent.
Use of the Platform and Prohibited Conduct
You may only use the Platform for lawful purposes in accordance with applicable law. Prohibited conduct includes, but is not limited to: unlawful activity, misrepresentation, interference with the Platform’s security or functionality, and the use of bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access or extract data. Sekabet reserves the right to employ detection measures for cheating, collusion, or use of AI software that distorts normal play, and may suspend or terminate a user account in response to such conduct.
Gambling Activity, Bets and Promotions
All gambling activities on the Platform are subject to the Rules of Play and these Terms. Sekabet may set limits on bets or wagers and may apply promotional terms that govern any bonus, free bet, or other offer. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and a particular promotion, the promotion-specific terms prevail.
Financial Transactions: Deposits, Withdrawals and Verification
- Deposits are processed through payment methods offered by Sekabet. The minimum deposit amount, where applicable, is stated in the Terms of the relevant promotion or payment methods section.
- name matching: If a deposit is made with a payment card, the name on the card must correspond to the name registered on the Sekabet account; withdrawals are payable to the registered account holder.
- KYC/AML: Sekabet may request documents to verify identity, address, and payment details at any time. You must provide accurate information and respond promptly to verification requests.
- chargebacks and fraud: You are responsible for any chargebacks or disputed payments. Sekabet reserves the right to suspend or reverse payouts and to withhold funds if fraud or unauthorized activity is suspected.
Intellectual Property and User Content
All content on the Platform, including text, visuals, logos, and software, is owned by Sekabet or its licensors. You may use content only in accordance with these Terms and any applicable licenses. By submitting user content, you grant Sekabet a worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute such content in connection with the Platform, provided it complies with applicable law and does not violate third-party rights.
Privacy, Data Handling and Communications
Sekabet processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy. The Platform may disclose information to payment processors, regulatory authorities, or law enforcement where required or permitted by law. You consent to such disclosures as described in the Privacy Policy.
Account Suspension, Termination and Forfeiture
Sekabet may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access at its sole discretion, including for violations of these Terms, suspected illegal activity, or risks to the Platform or other users. In such cases, Sekabet may withhold, suspend, or forfeit funds and may communicate information about the termination to relevant authorities or intra-group entities as permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
The Platform is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Sekabet makes no warranties as to uninterrupted operation or error-free content. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sekabet shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Sekabet and its officers, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims arising out of your use of the Platform, your breach of these Terms, or your content or actions on the Platform.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Curaçao. Any disputes relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by arbitration in Curaçao, or by the competent courts under applicable law, subject to any mandatory legal rights of consumers in their jurisdiction.
Modifications to Terms
Sekabet may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on the Platform and/or communicated by email. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
Entire Agreement and Severability
These Terms, together with Sekabet’s Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sekabet regarding the Platform. If any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
Responsible Gaming, Time-Out and Self-Exclusion
Sekabet provides mechanisms for responsible gaming. You may set time-out periods or request self-exclusion. Time-out periods impose a temporary cessation of deposits, withdrawals, and play; self-exclusion involves a longer-term pause, subject to verification and applicable cooling-off requirements.
